We are looking to recruit 4 super talented guys to help us to industrialised our SM&C function initially in the Finance & Headcount teams, but could expand to other functions under my control.

Across SM&C we operate a control framework to help us to manage the monthly activities of Financials Control, these controls include;

Actuals Tracking versus Budget (CDG Data)
Global Headcount Actual v Approved Budget
Euros: Cash, Pnl, Depreciation & investment
Euros: Cost Nature Analysis

Man-day Controls (Clarity Data)
Time Tracking
Man days invested vs. planned
Man days vs Headcount

Change Control
Budget Transfers
Redistribution of Budget Plugs

Clarity vs. CdG Alignment
Headcount
Budget
Referential

Referential Maintenance (Clarity & CDG Data)
Cost Centres
Charge codes
Organisation Structures

To support the above we have developed a number of excel based control tools which provide our monthly control reports, our objective is to create a SM&C offshore service centre to
standardise these tools/ reports & make them more robust, providing the first level of analysis
create the reports & issue to the onshore teams for further deeper analysis & follow up with the onshore managers
.
These reports are then used to help our understanding and provide ability to analyse control breaks and highlight areas of concern we then do a meeting with each Perimeter manager to provide the narrative for the variations.
Excerpts from these reports are also used in our monthly financial steercos.

In time I would like the 4 resources to start to use the tools & do more of the analysis and meetings with the onshore managers so we would start to offshore parts of the SM&C functions.

So Im looking for 4 very sharp guys or girls as eventually they will be performing a Business Manager role
They need to be;
self-starters
highly numerate
excellent at Excel, powerpoint, MS office suite (MS Access would also be favourable)
expert in financial management (budget v actuals tracking)
expert in managing, interrogating & reconciling large data sets
ability to challenge
ability to present complex subjects simply & concisely
ability to present to senior managers
technical background would be favourable
